VITA
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) offers free tax help to individuals that make below $54,000, persons with limited disabilities, and those with very limited English speaking abilities. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation.

Neighborhood Tax Centers
Neighborhood Tax Centers provide free tax preparation to families and individuals earning less than $58,000 from January 1 through April 15. No appointments; walk-ins only.

AARP
AARP Tax-Aid centers provide free tax return preparation for low income taxpayers and free tax consultations to all seniors over the age of 60 regarding pensions and retirement planning. Tax-Aid center locations are open from late January/early February to April 15 and locations/hours change every year. Check the AARP webpage during that time to locate a site near you.
